G.A.R. members established J. K. Taylor Post No. 182 on May 25, 1869 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Post was active from that date until the late 1920s. On November 19, 1923, the Post turned over its hall, furniture, and carpet to the Capt. O.A. Luckenbach Camp of the Son’s of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW).
